On the news, I heard of a list of things that people can pay for very little to get it and save while going green. in accordance to stacy Johnson, "Americans think the little changes (turning down the thermostat) don’t save a lot of money and energy, while they think the big changes (buying energy-saving appliances) are too expensive." it is unique how small things can have a great effect in saving money.
The things that will be effective in saving money while going green:
1. install energy-saving appliances
2. unplug things such as lamps, chargers, and other small appliances
3. using AC less as well as in the winter use the heater less as it is what hightens the electric bill for everyone
4. Install energy-saving lightbulbs for lamps
It seems hard to do any of this, but unpluging chargers and lamp plugs will eventually increase the amount of money one should give for their electric bill.
