anyhow i love the story of jack the ripper and it has always fascinated me. it sort of makes sense that a woman would do it out of the fact of her unable to have children, killing prostitutes that didn't care for the fact of them being able to have children with them not caring. but to do what the ripper did would involve being a doctor and in the 1800s women did not have as much as rights as we do now so back then it was more common for there to be a man as a doctor. to it brings me to the conclusion that perhaps the doctor man had a wife who was unable to have children or the guy was a major underdog and was being bossed by a woman. but you just never know that's what i love, a murderer that hide's in the darkness concealed by secrets. waiting for someone to realize its screams for someone to realize the purpose.

And although it is a game based on a fictional character, they still use methods that work, and compare it to the evidence in the cases.

Jack the Ripper was a man, he would solicit the hookers so they could go to a secluded area, also the bruises on the face and throat indicate someone with strength to strangle someone. Not to mention, the victims were last seen with a male client.

2, He was most likely a butcher. Some say he was a doctor, knowing the anatomy of the human form, but there is another occupation which requires similar knowledge, a butcher. This is supported by the fact that the victims were the more homely or "ugly" prostitutes that would be the cheapest, he could not afford much.

3. His Motive:
He most likely had a family, a wife, and at least one child. Now the most common STD at the time was syphilis, and he probably contracted it from a hooker, and given it to his wife, who passed it to the child. Now Syphilis is a disease in which causes a deformity in a child's face, marking them as a social Stigma, Thus his reason behind not only slaying the prostitutes, but also removing their uterus, Blaming them for his decline in society.

4. Now, to be clear, I don't mean any antisemitism when I say this: He was most likely Jewish, but an outcast in the Jewish community.
This is supported by the writing in the doorway after the 4th murder: "The Juwes are not the men who will be blamed for nothing"
Now people back then did have racist views towards the Jewish community, however it is doubted that the killer will go out of the way to blame the Jewish people just for nothing, it is most likely that it was to pit the people against the community as a means of revenge, possibly for a wrong that he believed was committed to him.
Also, the is a theory that he was caught, but because he was Jewish, it was never release in the papers, to prevent an all out riot against the Jewish community

I can understand why some people would think that it might have been a woman, but it is unlikely. A woman would not be so strong as to strangle them, and also, the way jack the ripper would get close, he posed as a client.

While it was possible to be strangled by a woman, it was highly unlikely at the time.
But also, Jack the Ripper would pose as a client for their prostitution. Not many women could pull that off back then.
not to mention the witness accounts saying that they were last seen with a man.

I'll admit after watching Black Butler, I did think Jack the Ripper might be a woman but I read that article on Yahoo and thought it was interesting since we were talking about Jack the Ripper in Forensic.

Also, for my personal views on this, it's mixed. I've researched Jack the Ripper for class (which I'm sure majority of people have) and from the research I have gathered, The Ripper dropped hints that he was, in fact, not a doctor. Of course I could of read it wrong and twisted it to sound as such but that is what I have gathered. Personally, I think we will never truly know who Jack the Ripper is or was so the idea of him actually being a she, could just very well be real.

The THEORY of Jack the Ripper Being a woman was around BEFORE Black Butler. They just used that THEORY in the anime/manga to progress their story.

Just like when Stargate came out, the theory that aliens built the pyramids was around before that, and inspired the story, the story didn't make it up first.

I'm pretty sure JTR wasn't a woman.
The killer was very skilled with using a knife on the human body, most probably a doctor or something similar. Back in the time of JTR it's very unlikely a woman would have that job.
Also, why would the woman unable to have children kill prostitutes? I could understand if JTR always cut out things like the victim's uterus but he didn't, he took a kidney from one victim.
The theory would make more sense if the victims were pregnant woman or mothers.

The killer is a mystery, no one knows who it is, however, the way he killed the victims is known and I've actually done a hell of a lot of research on JTR so I do know quite a lot about the case.
And I was loosing faith in humanity because someone thought an animals body is the same as a humans, not because their theory was different to mine. I once thought that JTR could possibly be a butcher, but after more research I ruled it out.

Wouldn't it have been possible for Jack the Ripper to have been in another field that allowed him knowledge of human anatomy other than a doctor? I'm not familiar with fields of the time but it seems possible that he could have been an undertaker, or someone that because it's examinations on the dead.
Though I've also heard of theories that it was more than one person that commited these crimes. Maybe it was multiple persons that formed the legend jack the ripper.

i heard he was a butcher,saw it on the tv(no,not movies),appaentally,for those times it was common to see butchers around,and they would be bloody due to theyr jobs from time to time,one of the reasons they couldn't catch him was because he used the time of day to his advantage,so,he killed people when it was getting dark,and because butchers were common,he had no trouble walking around all bloody for a few minutes,wel,that's what they showed anyways. xp
