I'm not quite sure what to make of this, guys.According to the article, a man who suffered a stroke back in 2011 recovered; however, with extreme changes to his personality, including his sexuality. After losing nearly all traces of the man he used to be, he ended up starting his life over in a sense, embracing his homosexuality.
Here's the thing: in the neuroscience world, it is established that homosexuality may be inborn. Therefore, the diagnosis in this case is that the homosexual tendencies of the patient were simply dormant before the accident. Personally, I'm not sure I buy it.
I subscribe to the belief that homosexual, bisexual and transgender tendencies are brought on by the individual's upbringing. Of course, I'm biased in my own experiences being a gradual development of my own transgender feelings across the years, so I probably am wrong.
But what do you guys think?
