Well, almost. they actually only have magnet links now according to this:

Oh and uTorrent is a bust if you were wondering, it does not support magnet links. However, I suggest Tixati because it supports both .torrent and magnet links.

actually ur ip still gets logged for magnet links the reason they change torrent to magnet links is because pirate bay wants to protect themselves they dont want o be held responsible

uTorrent's working just fine for me still, and I can still select individual files if I don't want to get the whole thing. Weird tho, it shows up that it downloads the whole thing, so a heads up.
And yes OP, you can get games, movies, music, images, comics, programs, eBooks... and w/e else I might be missing
