However, things might be better if they stay with UN negotiations, rather than reach a hasty decision that may or may not lead to a war with another country. Negotiating with the UN won't necessarily limit a country's freedom to act on its own, but instead provide a voice for the country and its interests.
Hopefully the new leader will amend for what has happened in the past for the sake of not only his future as leader, but for the sake of his people's lives and the ease of mind for other countries. However, if such changes progress too quickly for people without much thought, it is expected that a more vocal internal opposition may occur, and that Kim Jong-un may try to suppress the people with heavy amounts of propaganda and censorship to maintain his power over North Korea. Let's just hope that last bit doesn't happen.
