A Dog named Kabang saved the lives of 2 children in Nunez Extension, Zamboanga City Philippines. Two kids were about to cross the road when the dog saw a motorcycle that was fast approaching and eventually hit the two kids, the dog ran into the motorcycle ultimately stopping it and saving the lives of the two children, it's nose unfortunately got caught in the motorcycle's chain ripping off the upper half of its jaw.

Actually they say Chimps are the smartest, than any animal other than Humans.
Did you also know that the Crow is one of the smartest birds? They use sticks, and rocks as tools and weapons, knowing why they are using them, and use them to hit you for 'shits and giggles'.
They also actually play. They will slide down stuff for fun. People have split their tongue and they can talk. My dad thinks you'd not have to even split their tongue to do it.

If we're gonna get in a debate of intelligent animals, it would be: Dolphins, Orangutans/Chimpanzees, cats. Most other animals aren't very witty. The Elephant has tremendous memory. Dogs may not be as smart as some people give them credit for, but they are loyal. Loyalty and intelligence do not equate, but in some situations, one can be mistaken for the other. That dog didn't want to see the kids die, so it did something. That's brave, and loyal to human life, but not intelligent. I think that made sense... Then again, I did just walk out of a theater at 2:30 AM, and proceed to wait an hour before getting online. I'm kinda tired...

That dog is an amazing hero. There are HUMANS out there that would've been too scared to save those children from the motorcycle, and its just amazing that the dog would just save those two kids like that.

there's also this dog (i saw it from the news) who save this grandmother and her granddaughter from being bitten from a snake. the dog alarms the two, and when the the snake is about to attack, the dog bites him but he also got bitten by the snake. in the end the dog died, but his life was not put into waste. he saved two lives.
