This isnt in the wrong board, but as a heads up when doing stuff like this its probs best to give a bit more background info, because i really have no idea what "pink slime" is.
"Pink slime is a colloquial term for ammoniated boneless lean beef trimmings or similar products, which are considered "unfit for human consumption" until ammonia has been added"
Ammonia...it's what's for dinner! And this is why my family purchases half a cow (we split it with another family) and has a local butcher carve it up. Relatively inexpensive fresh meat with no chemicals added to the meat itself is definitely the way to eat.
>>11 If it's not safe, then legally they can be forced to not serve it anymore, obviously. One call to the right people, and then the right to keep it isn't up to them anymore.
>>23 Most people would eat there more, now that there isn't any more pink slime... Implying that you actually prefer the slime in your food confuses me.
True story, by the way. I spoke with my managers about it, and I'm pretty happy with the change.
>>24 I was not implying that i would prefer the pink slime i was just stating my opinion. For me it does not matter what the food was made out of, yes the pink slime is disgusting but if i like how something taste i will eat it.
