A Wisconsin woman who allegedly attacked her boyfriend and stood on the hood of his car said she was upset about McDonald's switching to breakfast.

The Janesville Police Department said Shanaya Edgell, 22, became enraged when at the McDonald's drive-through with boyfriend Darrell Page, 40, around 3 a.m. Monday they discovered the fast food restaurant had switched over to its breakfast menu, The Smoking Gun reported Tuesday.

Page said Edgell "got upset because she did not want breakfast and only wanted a cheeseburger."

Police said Page told them he drove away from the drive-through and Edgell soon told him to "return to McDonald's so that she could get breakfast" and struck him in the face.

Edgell then allegedly started biting Page on the right arm and climbed onto the hood of his car when he pulled over during the attack.

Police spotted Edgell on the hood of the car and the suspect told them she was "upset" about the McDonald's menu change and was on the hood of the car because she was acting crazy.

Edgell was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and jailed on $150 bond.

Wow. WTF? Was she on her menstrual cycle or something? Pregnant and craving a cheeseburger? Why would anyone act like that over something so stupid? Seems pretty childish to me. Not sure how her boyfriend could stand that

She probably didn't love him anyways, he was 40 years old so she might had an interest to marry him for his money when he died.

But still she was a maniac since she decided to act like that over a single Cheeseburger.

Over a McDonald's cheeseburger at that. I mean.. I can understand if the cheeseburger had been good; hell, I'd engage in honorable mortal combat with another person over a good cheeseburger at 3am in the morning.

But McDonald's? Really? What the hell man, just put some dogfood on a piece of stale bread and slap some day old rice-cheese on it. It's the same thing.
