There was a shooting at the Hass School of Business today at UC Berkeley! The UCPD (University of California Police Department) told a man (unverified if this person is a student or not) to put their hands up after spotting a weapon. Instead of raising his hands, the man instead whipped his gun out, and after refusing to put it down, the police shot about 10 shots at him.
I doubt he got shot all 10 times, I think the first couple were warnings. D: But the man was sent to the hospital and there were no other people with weapons on campus. Uber scary!
The UCPD are unsure if the gun wielding hooligan is somehow connected to the "Occupy Cal" movement happening in Sproul Plaza on campus.
