3 men have been charged with the crime of buying used schoolgirl underwear, paying as much as $100 a pair.

Shizuoka prefectural police found a 23-year-old man and his two colleagues had used an Internet forum to procure underwear from a 16-year-old high-school girl.

The prosecution is the first time the prefecture has applied its ban on the sale of used schoolgirl pantsu.

The (un)healthy trade in soiled schoolgirl underwear which Japan enjoys is notorious enough to have provoked a variety of prefectural bans, as the practice is at the mild end of the “enjo kousai” schoolgirl prostitution spectrum and may well serve as a gateway to more intimate encounters for both budding schoolgirl harlots and their prospective johns.

the trade takes place on the same deaikei sites used for actual prostitution, and a certain amount of interaction with the former owner of the articles may also be part of the service.

Cases of mothers selling underwear from their offspring have also been reported. The supposed existence of vending machines selling such articles is probably a myth, or at best an isolated occurrence. 0_o

However, it has also been noted that a significant proportion of the pantsu are probably not actually from schoolgirls, so a fate worse than arrest awaits the truly unfortunate pantsu collector – that of onanising repeatedly to the soiled underwear of a sneaky old woman or, worse yet, some anonymous 2ch misanthrope.

Wow...this is just plan weird...yet I suppose I have no room to say what is disturbing in one culture when I am not part of said culture. While it may seem gross and wrong to us, honestly we have to look at it from all angles. One being the biggest factor I think...they aren't raping the girls or otherwise harming them or anyone else. They are merely collecting soiled underwear. As gross as that is, it's not a case I see that honestly people need to be arrested in.

It's gross and freaky, yes, but it's not exactly harmful to anyone it seems. Hell someone makes a couple extra hundred bucks off their kids used underwear maybe they need the money to buy them food or new underwear and other clothes. It may be a problem that they have no choice but to do this, as creepy as it may seem. The people buying them? They may need some mental help...but agian they aren't buying the kids themselves...just their underwear, right?

I see this as a situation that, while the ban is ok, doesn't require a full on arrest if there is no sign or proof of them assulting any girls to get the underwear. I may be the only one that see it this way, but hey it's my opinion. If they aren't buying or harming the girls, then why send them to jail?

ALSO: I do see that the buying of the underwear was on a prostitution site...but were the people who were arrested for buying it also a part of the prostitution itself? If the answer is no, I still don't think they should be put in jail. The people involved with the actual prostitution should be the ones going to jail...not some poor souls that get a kick/high off of girls used panties. ;) Though this could all just be me

>>2 >>3 I'm with you guys. If they're not actually doing anything with the girls, they should be left alone. With that said, I do think it's kinda funny that they'd pay up to $100 for used underwear.

"buying used schoolgirl underwear, paying as much as $100 a pair."
"However, it has also been noted that a significant proportion of the pantsu are probably not actually from schoolgirls"

...Is anyone else seeing a potential market to exploit? I mean seriously, although I wouldn't do it, I can see people on the internet purchasing underwear, defecating in it, and then selling it on the internet. The profit to cost ration is probably somewhere around 10:1.

I don't think they shouldn't be arrested, If you like used schoolgirl panties then that's your thing. ( its not like they're
doing rape)

True you'd have to convert American dollars to yen or rio. Whatever they use over there, my mind is abit fogy about their currency but i think our currancy is worth more then theirs, but I'm not sure.
