On October 9th, police discovered the remains of an adult male near a resort area of Nagano prefecture. They have since identified the victim and arrested the man who allegedly murdered the individual

The victim was Michael William Nohara, a 37-year-old “new half” (transsexual) who worked as a hostess and/or prostitute in Tokyo. Nohara was originally from Okinawa, and had a Japanese mother and an American father. According to one article, Nohara also may have appeared on television and starred in adult videos.
Police arrested the man who allegedly dumped Nohara’s body in the woods: Hiroshi Ezaki, a 47-year-old resident of Saitama prefecture. He had apparently been in a relationship with Nohara.
