"Video-game players have solved a molecular puzzle that stumped scientists for years, and those scientists say the accomplishment could point the way to crowdsourced cures for AIDS and other diseases."
Ya, and many ignorant people still like to think video games are nothing but a waste of time. This news definitely brings a smile to my face as a fellow gamer.
no offense, but....if we cure AIDS (eventually) we will just have a bunch of prostitutes and rapists who arent afraid of having sex. AIDS has its good qualities too >:O
>>3 That is terrible. You can't force your morals on to others. Every life and view point is valid. You don't get to decide what is right for everyone. AIDS hasn't stemmed the tied of premarital sex. All that has happened is now tons of people are dying and suffering through a horrible disease.
>>11 Yahoo! News is so shit lol. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this news in their "second-rate news" list while crap like Lady Gaga's sister's opinions is in the top.
You know, this proves that innovation doesn't come from a senseless pursuit of profits, but rather an overall wish to better everyone's life... and a little recognition. Sorry for the random rant, but I hate it when corporate elitists keep saying that if it wasn't for money, we'd still be in the stone ages, this is a classic argument to their contrary.
