Divers are searching for the body of a Japanese exchange student who accidentally happened to have slipped off the ledge of Niagara Fall and was swept down INTO Niagara Falls o_0
Niagara Parks Police said the incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. when two female international students were taking photos on the Canadian side of the falls.
Trouble arose when one of the women, a 19-year-old from Japan, climbed onto the concrete ledge next to Horseshoe Falls to pose for a picture.

Police said the woman was sitting with her legs straddling the barrier. When she attempted to stand up again, she lost her footing and fell into the water below.

i....i dont know if i should laff. I mean it essentially WUS her fault for straddling the bar so unsecurely, if that's possible. There ARE signs on the bars that say 'do not climb' and even HAVE pictures of those stick men falling over. I'm sure she must have been pretty smart to be a foreign exchange student, so it wus her lack of common sense and her own idiot idea. I do however feel bad for her, especially that they haven't found her body yet, which is just gross, but on the yt vid, the uploader comment said they found an unidentified body. -sigh- :P people are just getting dumber and dumber, even Japanese people
