I miss reading news here from Xion_Kytori and I'm bored so here...

Rupert Mundoch- 'beleaguered boss of News Corporation' from Australia, UK, US and in Asia- has been attacked by LulzSec. LulzSec tweets

"Arrest us. We dare you. We are the unstoppable hacking generation and you are a wasted old sack of shit, Murdoch. ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER!"

then

"Thank you for the love tonight. I know we quit, but we couldn't sit by with our wine watching this walnut-faced Murdoch clowning around."

They had broke into the corporation's servers. They 'published a fake report of the media mogul's death. Masquerading as a copy of daily tabloid The Sun, the report claimed that Murdoch ingested a large quantity of palladium before stumbling into his garden and dying.

'The bogus page was published on a hacked server used to host a preview of upcoming changes to another News International paper, The Times. The hackers then forced The Sun's homepage to redirect to the hacked server. The influx of traffic rapidly overwhelmed the preview server, causing it to generate errors and subsequently get taken down. The redirect currently goes to LulzSec's Twitter page. The reason for this peculiar scheme is apparently that the The Times system has been rooted; the The Sun machine has not.

'Individuals affiliated with LulzSec and Anonymous are also claiming to have hacked into News International's mail servers, with a press release due tomorrow. News International is, of course, being targeted in the wake of the News of the World phone hacking scandal that has already caused the resignation of several high-ranking executives within the Murdoch empire, and the closure of the newspaper in question.

'Earlier in the day, tweets were also made purporting to be the e-mail addresses and password of various News International employees, including former Chief Executive Rebekah Brooks.'

Im not good with writing stuffs and all, so I just copied the article so to avoid anything that I might omit or say wrongly of the news and had added a few of their tweets... but whatever.

I love Anonymous but they do worry me a lot. They go too far a lot of the time. This however, was a brilliant stunt. XD

Anyone else think Anonymous is kind of like The Dollars' evil and hyper aggressive Uncle? XD

>>6 No one's going to target people specifically, all they're doing is stirring up undue nonsense. They've made their point several times already, we get it, they can hack things. It isn't difficult when you know what you're doing.

They've been going "hurdurr look what we can do" for the longest time now it's like overtelling a bad joke. As soon as they stop getting attention for it they'll stop, but at this rate it seems like it'll be a while.

It's a political statement, isn't it?

Murdoch is the CEO of News International and his company, it turns out, has been hacking the cellphones of minors and victims of 9/11. The only reason he was found out was because his company hacked the phone of girl who was raped and killed (I believe she was 13).

There's a difference between Anonymous and Lulzsec. I must agree that Lulzsec fits Misuto's description, but not Anonymous.

In first place, part of Anonymous also fit in the "big faggots who know to DOS", like the ones who participated on the Sony hack. However, what hapenned after the "hate-wave" against Wikileaks is proof enough of how serious the real Anonymous is - not to mention that fact that they denounce themselves people who claim to be part of the group and do retarded/useless stuff.

Oh definitely, I meant this group in particular. Anonymous isn't a dedicated hacking group by any means, and it's silly that a few people think of them that way.

Anonymous is just 4chan in general, and it just so happens that a good number of them are experts at this sort of thing. Their whole thing is strength in faceless numbers, but they were made famous in the eyes of the public by their hacking attempts. Because oh god technology what do
