Hartford, Conn (WTNH) - Hartford police are investigating a shooting in the area of Barbour and Martin Streets Friday morning that has left the victim in serious condition.
Around 1:35am, the victim drove up to a police cruiser on Garden Street that was on construction detail, and told the officer that he had been shot at the corner of Barbour and Martin.
Emergency medical staff responded to Garden Street, and treated the victim on the scene. He was then transported to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. His name has not been released. Police said he is in serious condition.
Officers responded to Barbour Street and located the crime scene where the victim had been shot. They are continuing thier investigation.
