Vocaloid fans are flabbergasted at the design of the latest addition to the Vocaloid family, comparing her to an eroge character with a gem lodged in her brain…
The new Vocaloid 3 character, still a work in progress according to the site, is in fact designed by noted eroge illustrator Carnelian, and her immaculate if plain style is already proving rather unpopular Not the most promising of debuts.

I disagree, the new vocaloid will probably sell just fine - It will only get worse once she becomes a Blackhorse Ensemble and gets her own rabidly devoted fanbase.
Does she fit in with the rest? I don't really think so. Will she be successful? Yeah, she will.

I don't like the design either, but I agree with what Navi said. The program itself is too successful to let its mascot ruin it. If it is, then what's the point of the entire fan base? I know there's a good chunk of it devoted only to the characters and not necessarily the songs though - like any large fan base, there's always a section of it that entirely misses the point.
Well, we'll see what happens when we hear the voice won't we.
