Good news, internet humans Now you can seal the deal on your virtual wooing with a big, wet, tongue-filled kiss! NOW comes a device designed to simulate a kiss over the internet.
So how does it work? The device is a box with a tube attached to the front. People move the tube with their tongue, which in turn moves the tube on their partner’s device. The result? A rousing round of robotic tonsil hockey. In the demo, the kid behind the tube – er, wheel – calls it a method of reproducing effective communications within the mouth, which sounds like the way Sheldon from Big Bang Theory would describe making out. Developed at the University of Electro-Communication in Tokyo you’d think that one person point out that perhaps a bunch of electronics students aren’t really the experts on making out. Of course, that could be just what these kids are relying on – a market that consists of consumers whose only romantic experience comes from a steamy night with a couple of wine coolers and their Yoko body pillow.
