This news is mainly for all canadian dollars. Yesterday, the Conservative party has won, again, but this time with a majority. Stephen Harper will be prime minister of Canada for probably around 4 years. The biggest surprise is the important place of the orange party NDP (neo-democrate party) that will be the main opposition in the chamber against Conservative.
So, for everybody, are you satisfied with the result?

But it was sort of obvious that the conservative would win again, so I prefered NDP as the opposition than the Bloc Quebecois ('caus I'm from Quebec). As for liberals, they completly got owned, such a shame

i'm not old enough to vote but i did participate in student voting. the majority of my area voted liberal i think. i was hoping for NDP. XD

Here, we say NPD. It stands for "Nouveau Parti Démocratique" which has the same meaning in english. So, it's NDP for Canada and NPD for Quebec. That's why it's written "sièges" which is a french word

Most of the people I know thin k that it's the worst thong ever. I'm from Montreal, which it's very orange. I really just hope that Harper will do good decisions...

Wow you're from montreal? Province of Quebec FTW. But anyway, most of poeple from Quebec voted for NPD so there isn't one people I know that is happy about the results

I'm a little disappointed that the Conservatives won. I don't think Steven Harper should be running our country.
It's too bad the NDP didn't win. I voted for them.
Still, it's a pretty great achievement for them to have gotten the opposition.
In my opinion, the Bloc shouldn't even have seats. They're pretty much a joke for everyone living outside of french-canada (and i'd assume for a good number of people in Quebec, etc as well).

I bet the Liberals are regretting pushing for this election, haha. They got fucked.
