TL;DR
"...North Korea on Tuesday fired dozens of artillery shells at a South Korean island, setting buildings on fire and prompting return fire by the South, Seoul's military and media reports said..."

Sorry, a lot of that article is about stocks, but it was the best one I could find.

It's basically a 50/50 chance of an open war. And the No War conclusion involves coup from the NK side, with its scared civilians putting end to the Kim regime, or the inheritor commites suicide as he cannot handle the pressure, which is rather possible as this situation is all pointing against him. But the overall conclusion would be unification of North and South Korea, and at the moment it is very unappealing as the USA would have full control of the newly formed disfigured, technology-rich and brain-rich nation.

I doubt theres going to be a war, why? Because Korea knows that as soon as they fire the first missle or any kind on attack on us, the United States will hold nothing back to compleatly bombard their country with bombs and an endless wave of troops. The US is much more powerful than Korea and they know it; if a war does happen I guarente you it won't last anymore than 6 days at most.

WW3 = continuatiom of the Korea war

I'm not sure how likely a revolution inside North Korea is. The internal security and oppression is terrifying and quite effective. This is the country that lets approx. 3 million citizens starve and got away with it. It really is a situation I can't think of an easy solution to.

I can't help but think that if the this goes to war that the NK people will be the ones to suffer most, though, who knows, it may help in the long run for them.

War, war, war. That word certainly is thrown around quite a bit.
But I agree with >>11, a revolution is unlikely within the country itself. And Western powers are too afraid of serious retaliation from NK (did anyone say nuclear winter?) to intervene yet.
