Although I don't live in America, but I feel that it's important to keep yourself knowledgeable of what's going on around the globe.

So feel free to speak your mind.

I think that with Perry re-elected, the GOP taking the House, and Prop 19 failing, maybe it's time to consider this whole "voting" thing as a failed experiment.

Thats just one view here from a citizen of Texas.

>Texas
Did you vote for the Rep. or Dem.?
Probably Rep., since Texas is a red state and that the democrats lost terribly.

Actually I was pretty much bipartisan

I usually vote Republican but I voted for the Democratic Candidate Bill White because I was very much opposed to some views that Rick Perry had.

As for electing new judges and a Lieutenant Governor...I pretty much voted Republican because I honestly did not have the time to research who I was voting for and all I really cared about was who would be our new governor.

But the cool thing about the Texan State Government is that event though we usually vote Republican, a lot of our board departments and chairmen and state legislatures are bipartisan having both Democrats and Republican views. They usually cater to the voters and not party lines due to the fact that our state legislature only meets twice a year and in order to be re-elected, they need to make their voters happy. In this way, no one cares about party lines, they care about US the voters, which is the way it SHOULD be.
