Responding to one of the top comments up there: I have to say, in God's defense because I know God loves LGBTQ+ and supports gender-affirming care for them, it's most uncompassionate of you to try to justify ignoring the voices of trans peoples, people who are made in god's image too - I'll remind you, by weaponising god into this spiritual dictator who views humans as mere playthings, (we have free will for a reason, it's to weed out the truly good people from the brown-nosing posers who think they can fool god) --- all of this because you refuse to acknowledge that trans folks of ALL ages deserve to be understood and encouraged to be who they are/who they feel they must be.

This isn't argumentative, but the automaton stubbornness of the few "christian nationalists" to think they can keep debating over another human being's right to self-govern, is incredibly and inherently hostile (no excuses) - they "disagree" with the LGBTQ+ community's right to exist and their freedoms, their disagreement with the LGBTQ+ community is purely reactionary, emotional and selfish, not from being informed of these identities - I mean scientists, doctors and all sorts of educated professionals support the LGBTQ+ community, because they've dedicated their lives to study them, but you "christian nationalist" dictatorship posers have no real concern for the well-being of this community. You think religion gives you an absolute authority to violate the basic human rights of everyone, as if abusing your religion will reward you with eternal life in heaven. As if YOU ALWAYS know what's best for everyone, without even knowing them personally. This stinks of narcissism, and some kind of god complex.
Is your life so privileged and boring that you have to come up with these abusive power fantasies? Pity.

Wake up call, god doesn't support your misguided and uninformed discrimination against LGBTQ+, and women, and any other historically-oppressed identity. God doesn't like to be used for your dictatorship. God doesn't like to be weaponised against people that YOU willfully refuse to understand.

Next time you want to attack someone's rights to gender-affirming care, picture yourself as someone whose body just barely produces enough estrogen/testosterone/whatever dominant sex hormone yours produces.
Now picture yourself in a situation where you're begging on your knees for your doctor to prescribe hormone-replacement therapy. But the doctor WILL NOT budge, for their own "moral" reasons.
You feel that loss of power? You feel that lack of hope? The suffering? That's the HELL YOU'RE trying to force trans people into.

Back off. The only person who EVER has the final word in what treatment they need, hormone-replacement therapy and/or the works, is the patient feeling uncomfortable in their own body : the Trans Person. It isn't your business.

Stop meddling into other people's lives. Stop trying to force religion down the unwilling throats of others.

Eu não sei para quem você enviou isso, mas concordo com tudo o que você disse.
Deve ser por isso que eu gosto tanto da banda Powerwolf (não sei se você gosta de power metal, mas se gostar, vai adorar muitas das letras deles).

A Igreja (como instituição) é uma invenção humana que serve como instrumento de poder. Muito antes da humanidade entrar nesta era que chamam de civilização, as culturas humanas (pequenas comunidades de caçadores coletores) tinham uma ideia de espiritualidade que era muito mais saudável e natural.
Como estamos entrando nos aproximando do Halloween (ou ele está se aproximando de nós) eu vou recomendar um artigo de um Blog que usa essa festa (o Halloween) para lembrarm quem eram as bruxas reais que a igreja católica perseguia e queimava em nome da Santa Inquisição e quem são os verdadeiros monstros.

Mas claro, visite o Blog apenas se você quiser (e divulgue-o apenas se o achar válido para espalhar esse lembrete de que a religião não deve ser usada como arma de opressão).

PS.: Acredito que a melhor forma de mudar a cultura, é criando uma cultura maior. Então seria bom que mais pessoas se empenhassem em criar uma nova cultura que além de maior, fosse melhor do que a cultura antiga e opressiva. Pense em criar um blog para escrever sobre assuntos como esse. Ajude a espalhar a informação que a grande mídia nem sempre dá atenção (porque seus patrocinadores escolhem o que eles devem divulgar).

Não é uma missão importante combater a opressão religiosa? E apoiar quem é oprimido?
Talvez, para tornar essa uma missão mais clara, possamos pensar em uma ação em prol desse obtivo.
