If there was something organized and within a reasonable distance from me, I would be down. I've made some efforts to meet some members, but due to the nature of how this site works, and how spread out we are, it is very hard to organize such a thing.

The would love to meet up with other members, I feel like it’d be very interesting to communicate with other Dollars in real life.

To my knowledge there has never been any Dollar meet-up at any notable scale. I'm sure on an individual level, members have met each other in the past, but the planning and commitment involve with planning a meet-up is far to immense for it to be pulled off by members here; the largest barrier being geographic location. Travel is not cheap, and to convinces people to meet up at a planned location is almost impossible. The Dollars are just to spread out.
Example, I would not be willing to travel any further than 2 hours from my location to participate in a meetup. that pretty much just means the state of Virginia, and from what I've gathered, there are no currently active persons in Virginia at the moment.
