As I wasn't around back in 2011 when this way alive and kicking, I really want to see this bloom once again. As suggested by fellow Dollars, I am creating this thread so we can think of ways to bring it back and make it active again! ^^ Looking forward to making this 'operation' a success! xD

After all, new people are bound to find this site one way or the other (I was just listening to Durarara's opening on youtube and someone had left the link on the comments). The tricky part is getting them to stay, I think.

I mean, I found this on some site about Durarara in the comments, so I guess maybe it would be good if people who genuinely love the show could find it in the comments section on its episodes on some of the anime streaming sites. Just spreading it in places we think will be of good use and where we can reach an audience of people who we think *would* be interested.

Still, I think that some work could be done for the web. Most popular threads are from years ago, and most new threads on the main board go something along the lines of "is this actually real?". Idk, I think we should do something about that.

I have some ideas floating around about missions to create and the such, but nothing tangible as of now. I may try something out soonish.

I'm thinking that whenever we do some missions, we hide this site and password somewhere near it, like with that Dollars Packet thing we hide the site and password inside it so only people who completely open it see it, also tell them not to spread the password like crazy and do it slowly

To be honest with Accel, this might be actually a good idea. Unfortunately, the main site can be accessed without a password, as far I recall, so the idea itself can be a little more difficult to be realised.

it's quite impossible, it blew up because the anime was trending, no one even talks about drrr nowadays

~kaan I agree, but it's still considered a must-watch anime and many people know about it. I guess it isn't as popular as it used to be, but making people who're interested in it realise that this sort of thing exists will surely spread the word a little bit. :)
~Andrew Murray We're trying to find ways of spreading the word about The Dollars website to other people in different ways hoping to increase the number of Dollars (but not trying to make it just numbers, but making people who actually care about it and want to join aware of its existence. If you have any ideas on how to do it, be sure to write it here and discuss about it. :)

im inviting my friend. i would first want to make dollar a little group in my area then slowly expanding it through the few friend and then make it bigger... its ambitious but not impossible and of course...recruit a trustworthy member

So - we have an Anime convention every month here where I live, I will try and recruit as many members as possible!
There should be some who are willing to join (and stay of course).

Let's make the Dollars gloom again! I'm totally in!!

Visit the Dollar Pockets thread guys! One thing I like about the Dollars is how we stay on the down-low about our existence. If you don't have a printer, even writing the quote on a piece of paper and leaving it somewhere is enough. People with enough curiosity or interest will check it out on their own. If they come onto the site and like what they see, then voila, a new member and a new recruiter. Hopefully, with enough members doing this or something similar, we will be able to achieve your mission to "revive" the Dollars. Best of luck and good day to you all.

Some time ago I was an active member of this site, but somehow (I don't know why) I lost my enthusiasm and willingness to work for this site and help other people, but, getting to the heart of the matter, I would like to come back and get involved again in this community, so I am looking forward to helping you in your mission :)

For starters do what we did before to get people here the recruitment papers with little strips with the site address written down on it! Secondly just mention it casually when recommending anime to friends along side ofc a recc of drrr!!
Plenty of easy ways to rev site. Infact ill be doing these myself too dont even need a printer for the former, the handmade aethsetic to that one is half the charm!

That sounds like a fun idea! I may go around my campus and just leave something like that around. The more the merrier:)
