Here is way on how to get more people to join in !
the easy way (not recommended): you give your friends or strangers the link box and the password box (make sure to tell them or not that the missing character is 'c')
the challenging way (recommended): Give people the link box only, that way you make sure that the only people that join, are the ones who are interested enough to find the passeword, you can help them find it in different ways, for example: go to a library, cut out the website link box and put in a book, but before that ,on the paper write down the code number(every book has a code number in a library, its usualy on the side, back or both) of another book in which you will put the password box. And again writing down the missing character is up to you, either way you will be responsible for the new members in your area.
You can even write down your pseudo, so that when new members join in they can reach out to you (again you're free to handle it as you see fit).

That's just my concern, you don't know how many times I had met members that came from the information of their friends and ended up cluttering the main board for their own fun.

Firion, thats why i went to such lenghts to make it hard for them to join and recommend the second method for recruitting new members. As for your questions, whe have already enough trolls, and members who don't do missions in the dollars. At worst, we'll get a troll or someone who would just find what we're doing ridiculous, at best we'll get a new member who will find what we're doing interesting. I know its not the best way, but we don't have a choice. If only the site had different passwords other than one, the process of recruitment would have been much easier

I think it's a great idea. I'm probably going to share it around with people. IMO, it doesn't really matter if the majority of them won't do missions, as long as there are _some_ people that are willing to help, that's all that matters. And hell, if we can get some people just chatting in this, give more life to the thing, that would be great too.

Making a geocash sounds like a good idea. Perhaps it should also give a run down on what the dollars is and such?

Maybe put the notes where non-troll types would look?
