So for anime expo there was a small meet up by arstist alley. There were maybe 15 of us there so we introduced each other and got to know a little bit about why we joined the meet up. After that we moved to do some shenanigans around the expo which other cosplayers happily played along once we asked if they'd be willing to do some fun poses/videos. At the end of the day we all said our goodbyes and went home. This year there was no meet up with dollar members but I did run into someone holding a logo for the dollars BBS page and it made me happy to see someone else from our group at the convention he was collecting signatures from other cosplayers who wanted to sign, he was very down to earth and it kind of makes me want to create my own meet up since this year one wasn't organized and last year was a last minute thing.
If anyone is interested in doing a cosplay meetup or just a regular meet up please let me know some ideas you might have. We can work with making a poster for outside of the convention so that could be our meet up spot. I'm probably going to end up doing something sneaky that Wont represent a sign or poster that way staff won't kick me out.
