Heyo peeps, I would like to spread awareness for Seismic Blasting in the Arctic. Seismic Blasting is when oil companies blast sound waves throughout the sea to map out and find oil. Since most of the animals in the sea use sound as their main ability to be able to communicate and navigation it disrupts animals such as beluga, narwhal and bowhead. Not only does it disrupt the animals, the people who co-exist with these animals and use them as a food source are put in a difficult position since the transported food are overpriced.
