I have seen all these posts about clowns lately and a few people thought of ways to stop the clowns.

1. I suggested the idea of making a video warning people about these clowns, to be safe and letting them know where these happened so far. And ending with the Dollars logo letting people know we exist.

2. Meet up and stop the clowns. I don't like this idea because is very dangerous and you don't know when a lot of clowns start running towards you.

3. Be on the lookout with your phone ready to call the cops. And give any information to the police. This is not a bad idea, but who knows what could happen?

4. When you see a child walk alone keep him company or take him home. This is a good idea but people might think you are a bad guy.

5. Designate people to areas to do reports on, each of these designated could record a video relaying the information in the area they've been designated to. Everyone could send the clips to a person who could edit them together and put the Dollars logo at the end with a message. Or they could post the videos on their social media. I really like this idea.

6. Ignore them and let the police handle them. This is not what Dollars do though :)

I think we shouldn't put the dollars logo, it's unnecessary. If people doesn't know us it's fine. At least we do the good thing

I'm a fan of both of the video ideas. If enough people agree, I would like to help with either of those ideas.

I think putting the dollars logo up is a bad idea. I have always been pro hidden, and still am. One reason is cuz putting the dollars logo on a video will come with a small amount of fame, that is not what the dollars is about. It distracts us from the real reason for why we do what we do. Secondly we don't want to be giving ANYONE our names. I've always been for selected recruitment, if we put out a video for mass recruitment or for the anti clowns vid. Who's to say all people who would view it to be good? Who's to say a clown won't watch it? At that point a clown could do his small amount of research and then have access to this site, now he/she would see any and all plans we would make and would be able to avoid them. Rendering the site useless in cases like this. Keep us hidden. There is a reason to hold your cards, and this may just be our best one.

i must agree with Sigiled Hawk. i don`t think putting a logo is a good idea.though making a video on all the places they have been spotted could be a good thing if you could get it to a massive amount of people. but i think most of them are doing it as a prank verses the few who might really be out to do others harm.

Honestly, someone should just make the video already. We've been talking about the same ideas for almost a week. It's about time somebody actually organized it.

Why do they do these, who are they, who do they think they are?

Maybe if anyone records their voice it would be wise to alter it? Like a vocal disguise. Just to be extra, extra careful.

I'm in Los Angeles. I've word that the clowns are here around Hawthorne, Carson, and Huntington Park. As a vigilante I've decided to do patrols on these areas during the day and night in and out of my suit. Hopefully I can contain the problem until they move on or quit.

There is an app called SafeTrek that would be very useful to keeping self. Whenever you feel unsafe you can hold the button, when you release it you have 10 seconds before it sends your location to the cops and hooks you up with dispatch.

Id be willing to help. Im a notice voice actor so Im very good with my voice. Also, many younger children where I live are quite frightened due there being a few clown sightings in a park near one of the middle schools. I also have after effects and many voice distorting programs. (doing voice acting has its perks I guess)
