Hallo guys!
Not a very active member around here but I have something which I thought that fellow dollars members would be interested in.
In my area, I'm part of a group known as(no guesses needed) Knowledge for a Cause, or Vidya. We are not a very large group of peope and all we do is spread knowledge to the underprivileged, be it a young man or an old guy on the street. We try and help by teaching. We feel that knowledge makes you think better of the world as you know how it works. Therefore, it gives them an opportunity to snowball into bigger areas of learning from the basic ideas we give. Since our reach is rather limited, I as a member of this and Dollars, would request if it was possible for other members to do small acts of knowledge shedding to the underprivileged under the name of the Dollars, or my own group. Anything from giving a thin little book to giving an hour long lecture, works. This is something which if done in mass could solve many, many problems in most of our areas since lack of knowledge is what holds many people back, and thereby our countries. Therefore, give these guys anything that you have learnt before anywhere. It helps.
