Human Trafficking: Modern Slavery (6)

1 Name: Quantum : 2016-02-07 20:13 ID:sE8ClRjq [Del]

I've been doing a lot of research on Human Trafficking and it turns out its especially bad in my city as well as Sacramento and other big cities throughout the U.S. Chances are, it's happening somewhere near to you. It's sick. These criminals persuade children (usually girls) to come with them and leave home only to hold them captive, treat them as sex slaves, and deprive them of their freedom. One of the methods they use is that they will send of their buddies to go and pretend to rescue some of the victims. If the victim tries to escape with that fake rescuer, they are beaten and punished severely. So how are they supposed to know when someone is actually there to rescue them? It's a nightmare, I can only imagine.

I read an article regarding what the FBI is doing about it and according to its director, not much. They've taken care of a mere 1% of human trafficking that occurs in the country.

This is our responsibility. Right now there are many MANY people, little girls, who are being locked away, beaten, starved, and raped. And there are probably a many in your area. I'm not askng you to find them, take out the traffickers, and bring them home, because I can't ask that of anyone. But I think we all owe it to THEM to educate ourselves. To learn about it, and how we can prevent it. How we can see traces of it.

Read this article and more. And remember those little girls.
