Hello fellow dollars, I know a lot of you wants to help the people and do things related to that, but most of our missions are just small things, so based on that I want to talk about something amazing, the LEO club movement, it was created to help the local community and spread all around the world, we do all kind of projects: solidariry bazars, visits to orphanages, campaigns to raise money to charity..., just today our club went to a really poor school in the city, with ice cream and some games, since it's near the children day in Brazil (that's the reason for my bad english, sorry), and next week we are going to give a lot of toys on a poor neighborhood in our city.

There are clubs in every country and in a lot of cities, so there probably is one near your house, you just need to search for it in the internet or in this site: https://directory.lionsclubs.org/?language=EN
if you are 30 years old or older you can join the lions club, wich is even more effective than leo.
If you have any doubt you can ask here, I don't know if I'll be cabable of answering but I will do my best. (sorry for my bad english again).

Just to make it clear I'm not trying to steal dollars members or anything like that, it's easy to be a member of both, I just want to tell that there are more opportunities to help.
