I know this is something maybe really stupid, but...
I was thinking that we could assemble a group of gamers, and play get to any tournament in any game and then give the money or atleast a big part of it to some charity

You may think i´m stupid but, think of it for a while...

This is actually a really good idea, with the rise of Esports there is a lot of money in the gaming industry, money from this could help a lot of people. I'm no pro gamer (pro gamer still feels like a funny thing to say haha) however depending on the type of game, I'm more then willing to help with putting a team together and practicing. Honestly, it is a really good idea :D

Thanks guys for replying for this. Though there is small problem: most of games on Esports require at least 5 players. I know it´s here for short time so imma let it be here for a week and then check it again. There is still yet to decide which game would it be, and i may not even take part in this because of my connection i have only IPv4 so i can´t play much of the games, if we do get in game with IPv4 support though, you can count on me ;)

hmm it might be worth looking up some popular esports, I know a lot of MOBA's have them. Also starcraft does, however I don't know if there is a team based tourny, or if that is all solo. as i said, it's worth looking into, this idea has solid foundation with its functionality, win tourny, donate money, pretty simple, however, putting together a good team, sorting out practice, and chosing the game to use are very important

I wish you a lot of luck, since it's gonna be extremely difficult. Even when you're playing like 8 hours a day, it's still very difficult to win from "real" professionals.

The best chance you'd have is entering these smaller online weekly tournaments which hand out like 5/10 euros/dollars (and which don't attract real pros).

Hello I'm still new in E-sports and stuff but I think we should consider our countries. Different countries host different server for tournaments so I think we should consider this. If we're going to do this (and I am more than willing to help because this is one really good idea) we should put up a list of those who would participate and of course list their countries as well. That way we can join different E-sports competitions in different servers and countries. That's just what I think but I am more than willing to help even if I'm no pro. ^_^

P.S. I'm from the Philippines and the MMO games that I play are Dragon Nest, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and DotA 2.

Guys... when you look at this... there´s already 5 of us... If you want to do this after all, let´s try some game, we have to choose one though... write some of those games here for example my one is LoL :D

This is an amazing idea, using your interests to be able to do these things is awesome!

I think this is a great idea, some gaming tourneys, illegal and legal, pay alot of cash for the winning team.
