Clemency for Leonard Peltier (5)

1 Name: Magnolia : 2015-07-12 19:36 ID:SG7MDVfC [Del]

Leonard Peltier, a Native American man convicted in 1977 of murdering two FBI agents, and was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences. However, over the decades it's become more and more apparent that every
single detail within their report and every evidence provided, and even the witness statements against Peltier was falsified or contradicting to the events.

Despite all of the evidence that contradicts Peltier having anything to do with the deaths of the two agents, he was not given clemency by Clinton and Bush without reason, and has been wrongly serving 29 years in prison for the sake of the FBI's pride. Peltier's next scheduled parole hearing will be in July 2024. Barring appeals, parole or presidential pardon, his projected release date is October 11, 2040.

The mission is to spread the word however you can, support petitions, and call and write to the White House. We don't know who will win the next election, but before Obama leaves, this needs to be done.
The petition is here (and it's almost reached it's goal): here
Call the White House here: 1-202-456-1111
Mail or Email the White House: here

Guys, this has to be done more than once, and we need everyone to participate to release him.
The Mission:
1) Sign the petition
2) Share on all social medias Leonard Peltier's story (More research: here & here)
3) Call or email the White House.
4) Set a reminder to go off once a week to send another email.

This is the countdown until Obama leaves office: here)
Force the American government to acknowledge its mistakes and right their wrongs by not forgetting victims & spreading the word.

I agree, the government that I, sadly, fall under has done many wrong things, but this is on another level.to have evidence to support that he is innocent and still not release him is a crime and degrades this country even further than it already is.

The only reason this man is still in prison is in order for the FBI to save face after blatantly framing a man.

Do you guys think it's OK to ignore our judicial system's decision to keep a man who was wrongfully given a 50 years sentence in prison just so our government could save face???
