Read the second paragraph for the mission.
So today, my parents were out when the door rang. I thought it might be a delivery, so I went and answered, but the person who appeared before me was no delivery man, but a homeless man. He asked for food, simple request so I went to get him some. I gave him half a loaf of cheese, a really big sausage, an already opened package of cheese and a bit of the cake my mother baked. A bottle of water to go and that's it, however, during the time I prepared the meal I let the pearson enter the house. I am not biased, but not naive either, I was awfully afraid he might steal or assault me, or just be a scout for his friends. He asked whether I had a mobile phone he could repair and gain money in exchange, which I declined. Before, he asked for cash and I gave him ten euros. When he left, he asked if he could my shoes, which were already worn out, so I handed them over. During the whole event, he thanked me exactly one time. "What a nerve" I thought, but I guess I'm fine with just helping out once in a while. Then again, I realised that allowing him to enter was too much, money probably isn't the best way to help, and maybe handing him the pair of shoes I tend to wear often was as well. So in order as to not feel obligated to help a person appearing at my doorstep, I came up with a quite... unrealistic idea. I don't know if this suggestion was made before, but I spend a minute searching the threads with ctrl+f, that's plenty, right?
Take a doggy bag, or whatever kind of package, put some food and drinks or something essential in it and pin a note on it stating: "Take it if you really need it". Then place it somewhere you know many people in need will see it.
I realise it's unrealistic to do this everyday, but if you just put some food in that's going to waste before you it it every once in a while, it will still help people out.
