Most people have seen TED Talks or have heard of what TED is. TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to spreading ideas. This usually involves short, powerful talks that are uploaded onto their website. There is an opportunity for individuals to create TED like events in their communities. TED has a program called TEDx, the x stand for independently organized TED-like event. It allows ordinary people to create their own TED-like events in their community. For the past five months I've been working on a TEDx event in the downtown Los Angeles Area. It's been an amazing experience and Iv'e worked with many extraordinary individuals along the way. I was thinking maybe a few dollars can start their own TEDx events in their communities. This is a great way to present local ideas to the global community. If you know a few dollars around your area try creating a team for the event. It involves a lot of time and dedication to create an event like this. This mission is not for those who are looking for something easy to do. If you want to produce some real change in your community, then I challenge you to participate in this mission. I can help you with the process and you will also have the support of other TEDx organizers. You will need to apply for a license to use the TEDx name.
