so since Easter is coming up soon , or is already here for others, i was thinking we could do a special mission for this time of year.

So everyone who celebrates Easter will have fun with his family and friends, but how about homeless people? no right?
even though im sure its not going to be enough to save them i think they would be happy to receive something holiday like, like decorated eggs or chocolate bunnies.

why dont we all help those people? doesnt have to be something expensive, just something enough to make them smile for once.

i dont know if something so small is worth calling help myself so what do you guys think?

Its a really great idea. In my country this party isnt as celebrated as in other ones but i think here in spain we can bring them a smile whit something

Hiding eggs with nice messages around the city would be a cool easter theme.

Generally its not a good idea to give out candy to strangers, it will probably go in the trash, since there are people who will give out candy with needles or poison.

There isn't really lots of homeless in the country I'm staying, and I think they won't accept it too....

well even though i am probably the only dollars member in my area ill do what i can, maybe instead of food something else along with some money.

i was thinking it might be a good idea to leave a sign like a paper that says dollars or something

Good call but this could be missintepreted in sooooo many ways :/ (by the homeless people or the people who walk by them)

I think a homeless person would prefer an actual meal considering, they haven't eaten in days rather than a measly chocolate bunny or painted egg.
I would NOT be smiling if I received THAT while starving for a burger.

think so? well the point of the mission is to help people during the Easter at least , so why dont you guys suggest your own ways? i guess mine was a bit...how to put this...wrong?

and maybe we could continue this mission even afterwards by offering them actual food or money. That was my initial idea but i thought since its Easter and all to change it a bit

Money would tempt them to spend on cigarettes or drugs instead of things they actually need...

for starters this Friday im gonna go help the church to give out food to the homeless. my aunt is really religious and the church she usualy goes to does these kinds of things.

though i'd rather do it myself since i think it leaves more impact, but i guess ill start with this. i might go out alone too some time but ill have to think it through well.

you guys should do something too if possible.

thats a great idea i always feel guilty walking past homeless on the street when they have nothing, I don't know if my friends would be willing to help though.

REMEMBER DON'T JUST GIVE THEM MONEY, THERE'S ALWAYS A CHANCE THEY'LL BUY DRUGS, BUY THEM SOMETHING LIKE A MEAL :)

Hmm... Gotta check the budget again, but I might be able to bake a pie, divide the slices, and put them into separate baskets with plastic forks and napkins. Perhaps those will be my "Daytime" baskets and my "Nighttime" basket will hold either a home cooked meal or McDonald's... It's difficult to do this with actual food though, because it's still cold here.
