There will be an index on this thread, but it will be backwards (with the most recent additions at the top) to avoid unfair publicity for the earlier posts.

Other members can pick and choose what causes and events they want to share on their own social media pages to help signal boost them.

These types of things I'd post in News. UNLESS! People are making a Mission out of it. Which I doubt.

Like, "There's a war in area x! We need to do x, y, and z to help out!" Or "This species is going extinct because of x! We need to tell people so they can stop doing x so they they don't die!"

Even then, it's iffy...

How ironic is it, that a video about the need of more respect from men towards women…has a scandal about the sole woman in the video cheated out of her rights to the video by the male producer??

Her name is Shoshana, and she’s a college student and the sweet babysitter of my roommate’s son. Because of her past of being experiencing past sexual assault, she felt passionate about the creation of this video, and the message Hollaback! was trying to spread.

The man in question is named Rob Bliss, and he’s placed ads on the cat calling video without speaking with or INCLUDING Shoshana in the cash he dished in from it. Adding salt to injury, he’s recently released an ad to TGI Fridays without her permission OR without disbursing the proper amount of pay she deserves.

He has flat out scammed the sole female actress of his video; a video in sharing a feministic point of view for a call of respect. This wounds me deeply, because cat-calling in the South is equally terrible, and I felt like she helped spread a message about how we women feel when we walk the streets and sometimes get aggressively approached by strangers, and then get called a “bitch”, or other names, just because we don't feel like interacting with them. I actually watched her video in order to prepare me for NYC.
Yes, she is currently lawyering up, but what she needs more than anything is for us to spread the word; on your Facebook, on your twitter, on your tumblr, on your whatever. Put pressure on the two-faced bastard who scammed her.
You can use this opportunity to help anonymously as a Dollar, or to spread the Dollar name, but I assure you, this isn’t fake at all. #SupportShoshana

She is owed money for her part in the making of the catcalling video and people, and although the video has many advertisements added to it, and the producer/writer Rob Bliss is getting over a $100,000 for it, she isn't receiving a single penny. The point of this is to spread the word, and hopefully gain the medias attention (as well as Rob Bliss').
