(temporary thread)

The mods have informed me that they are currently doing a significant sweep of the Missions board. You may notice a large number of threads being saged, including older threads with many posts as well as those that seem alright. Please stay calm. They will be having us make new threads to accommodate for ideas that have gone off topic, had bad OP's, or have since been broadened and replaced. We will also be making a thread explaining how to properly set up a Mission on this board to avoid having to do this again in the future.

This process may cause posting to be a bit slower, so please bear with us. The Missions board has gotten a bit out of control in recent months; I'm glad to see it's finally being taken care of.

If you have any questions about why a thread was saged, please ask it here with a link to it. There are too many for me to go on each one explaining it.

I'd suggest going from the bottom up.

Currently 241 permasages that I see.

407 saged. They said they're about halfway through now.

Seems they finished at 825 sages and 33 closes. Wow.

The mods also sent me a list of general threads that need to be made based on the frequency of the threads saged to organize future posts. Hopefully this will help us get some originality on the rest of the board.

Are you going to make a Lost Person thread? That needs to be made. Make it similar to the Boycott thread if you can. Then we can either have a thread to indicate what belongs here and what doesn't, or we can include that in the index that you want me to make. Whichever you please, because you're the one helping the ninja mods out!

Hello, I'm sorry for just barging in here, but I was just wondering about a category for missions where you do stuff to help around locally? If there's already a category, which one is it? I'm sorry for asking all these questions.

What do you guys think about the QR thread? They were on the edge with it. Most of the people posting are just using it for inspirational notes or advertising. But I also don't think it should be put in the Messages thread 'cuz it could get clogged up with QR codes. It's like a second Messages thread that uses codes instead right now, which is weird.

I also agree that it could technically be messages. After all, people are only really using it for messages. But I really don't know what the mods did with a lot of the threads, but there's a few that I remember that I think are technically messages.

Give me time to look through the board to see what the mods did with these threads. If they're all still around, maybe we can have one big generic message thread where people psot the different forms of messages they've put out?

We have one that I made a few months ago. And yeah, all the other messages missions have been saged.

Well, what's to say that the general thread won't get clogged with pictures of other messages people leave? That's my thought on it, at least...

I think the QR and TWYN threads could be put into the MT. People can make their own versions without really needing to post them :o
