Hello everybody, I am a janitor. Now due to my training I have come to notice the severely deplorable condition of public restrooms. I for one find this very office. Even if everything looks clean on the surface if you look under things they are filthy. (urinal bottoms covered in piss, sinks in grime, etc etc) This is a severe problem for peoples health. So I have personally decided to step up. I am making a small cleaning kit that I can take anywhere with me and cleaning a bathroom. With timed practice one can clean a large bathroom within 10-15 minutes. Smaller bathrooms can be done in less. I know this may seem like a lot, but don't you think that you can spare 10 minutes or less when you see this sort of health hazard? Also if you are a long way from your home you have the advantage of at least cleaning it for yourself. that is all. First I will see how many are interested before I list all the things you will need in your kit. Heck who knows if you need a job you may even get a job as a custodian lol. Although I prefer the term sanitary engineer or hygiene technician.

I really like this idea. I wouldn't suggest doing it in a multi-stall bathroom, though, because people would probably be creeped out lol

Even if you're not willing to make a kit to bring with you, this is a good sanitation awareness mission - be sure to wash your hands and, if possible, bring some kind of hand sanitizer with you when you know you're going to be in a public bathroom sometime that day. (I personally can't do so because I have an allergy to hand sanitizer v_v but it's good practice.)

Oh, see that's where I've come up with a way to not make it awkward. at work we have a sign that say's Janitor on duty, so we could make a sign to put on the door that says Volunteer Janitor on duty lol. Also if the bathroom's are really disgusting most people will stay out of them, and I've found they actually appreciate you cleaning them.

I just tell people how dirty it is in here and for my own personal health I am cleaning the sink. keep in mind that ten minutes is with a wet and dry mop. I plan on adding a swiffer mop to my arsenal so I can just do a quick sweep in a minute or less. It also includes wiping down walls which can be skipped if they aren't unnecessarily dirty.

What do we need for the cleaning kit?

List of things I enjoy doing in the bathroom:
Pissing everywhere. On wall, top of urinal, in the corner.
Throwing garbage in the toilet, making it flood like a sea.
Shitting in the corner on the last day of school/ or when I'll never go to that specific bathroom again.

To be honest, I'm anti-thiskit. Bathrooms are meant for fun, and this is exactly against that.

My exact thoughts.

Sorry for not checking on this thought it was kind of dead. For you cleaning kit you will want
1. backpack to keep all your stuff in,
2. Windex or other cleaning solution (preferably eco friendly)
3. extendable pocket sized duster for cleaning the high beams
4. Purple Stix toilet bowl and porcelain cleaner
5. Toilet brush
6. small portable swiffer dust and wet mop.
7 lots and lots of rags
8. surface cleaner and disinfectant.

Again this is all optional and not needed for the mission, but if you want to do it to the best of your capabilities I think you will find it much easier with this kit. We may be doing other peoples jobs but we wouldn't have to if they had done them right. If one is doing their job right I should not see piss soaked urinals. If they lose their job that is their fault for not doing it right. Who knows maybe all the unemployed dollars doing this mission might get the job instead.
