Then I'll share the .pdf with all the dollars ,here in comments and IF it's good we could try to sell the e-book to earn some money to give for charity (like the donation for the dollars' day for example). Because of this possibility you need to tell me in the email if you want your name under waht you wrote and if you're ok with selling it without you earning money from it. I will cure the grafic of the book.

What kind of style should it be drawn in? (Flipping between styles is unprofessional and can come off badly depending on what ones are mixed.) What ages should it be appropriate for? (Don't want smut in a kid's book.) What kinds of things can you illustrate? (People? Scenes? Patterns? The voices in your head? Etc.) How much can you do with it? (The cost goes up with each page, so if someone sends you a twenty page comic illustrating their life, that'll increasing printing costs exponentially.) Can color be used? (Color often adds 30% of the price to the final printing cost.)

If you want people to participate seriously and donate their artwork to it, then you should think about it seriously and come up with proper guidelines for them to follow. This group tends to have trouble going anywhere without a solid set of directions.

Hello there, I like your idea about the Dollars but please remember you, I, or anyone else can't say that every Dollars person is a helper. I remember one person tried to start some stupid anime "association" saying the Dollars are a bunch of anime fans, now I know it's contradicting because come on everyone here probably watched Durarara and is an anime fan, BUT I feel as if this person was trying to start some communist and shoving their pride of an anime fan in peoples faces. I wish for the Dollars to just be a group of people that want to make this world a better place whether you're an anime fan or not. Uniting all humans under a simple goal to help this world.

This sounds like an awesome mission. This would seriously help unite everyone in the Dollars and in the world itself. This is a long-term mission, so I will be sending my ideas a bit later when I am not as busy with my personal life. :)

1st: to give dinheira for charities.

I got into the dollars when I did some investigations on pervious worksnfrim the director and cast to compare to Durarara. I notices the amount of letter that was typed in the anime for the password for the dollars website. I realized that the director of Durarara was also the worked on Baccano, which also happens to match the amount of letters for the password,and here I am.

As the dollars are a "blank" color gang that focuses on anonymity, maybe the pages should all be blank with unnamed quotes from dollars members on each page. An opening paragraph / page explaining what the book is about followed by a bunch of compiled quotes from dollars members. If the book is long enough, the quotes can be aranged into chapters with each chapter showing the dollar's thoughts on different topics (like Ch. 1 Missions and Ch. 2 Community, etc.) Lets see how this turns out!

If you are all okay with it, I could start a blog to track the deeds we do each day, and start a thread here asking people to comment good deeds they did, and ill post a record on the blog each day. This way people will be inspired to do things. Proof won't be required (unless you claim something extravagant, like donating 1,000 dollars to a cancer foundation, then ill want scans of paperwork or a picture of a letter you received or something.)

Do you know how many people would log in if we told the world? The Dollars would be pointless. It would just become another social media. The dollars isn't just any social media. Making a official book about the Dollars could be a problem coming from that the idea of this gang was originated from a Japanese multimedia story named Durarara. But, this is a great idea and I will most likely join in with this.

In order for this site to really become known people would have to understand that we are a bunch of weaboes who watch durara. Yes the show has a mind of its own when it comes to the creation and the objective but yet again who would want to be leaders of nerds? its just as simplet as society puts it. Infact I think the chat room shouldnt be called drr. Infact it should remain as dollars

@To be known You would be surprised at how many people would look at the book, and then the show and say, "oh hey it's a gang, I'm going to join just for sh*** and giggles." Then they'll tell all their friends they're in an "online gang". More and more people would come on. Eventually we will be flooded by thousands of people. All because someone blabbed their mouth and turned us into just another social media. If they don't turn it into a social media then they simply won't be active. I am active daily, so my membership here isn't an issue. Though the people who come on once or twice a month, shouldn't even be here. If you are a member of something you should try to come at least once a week. I just have a feeling new comers could be trouble.

To be honest I think everyone who joined the dollars had to have watched Durarara!! and eventually looked up if someone made a replica site in real life. It's not like I, the great Gintoki, could of heard of it any other way.

I was wondering if the Dollars are copyrighted by the company that made Durarara. Otherwise we could make Dollars books and stuff and sell it around the world if it hasnt been already made. Also this wouldn't be to earn money ourselves but only cover it's own cost and give it to a charity

Or otherwise we could make a bit of pressure to create a variety of items to sell and earn money for a charity. I don't know if this has been made in Japan but i dont see anything except Dollars's mugs....

If you don't have many stories yet would there be a way to make it in volumes? Like Volume 1 (start date - end date), Volume 2 (previous end date - new end date a view years later) and so on? That way new people could still join later. And then, when there are enough storys, it would be possible to release it as an e-book.

This is actually still basically the Dollars from the anime. Even if we're making a book, we're still an online group. We're still anonymous like the Dollars from the anime, since not many of us are using our real names~ This is so cool I love this place <3

Also this thread makes me sad, so I put together a form for you :0 Users can fill it out with a couple clicks & the responses will auto email to us (both in the message and as a pdf). That should encourage more replies and be a little more organized.

Attached is what the form looks like right now. I added some survey questions inbetween so you can show demographic data for who participated (Google Forms automatically generates pie charts and such for that, so just ask me if/when you need them).

If anything needs to be changed or added, just tell me so I can do the adjustments. Otherwise, if you like the idea, I'll post the link so you can share it where you need it (it'd probably do best in the first post of a new thread).
