Long story short, a friend of mine has suddenly found herself in a situation where her family cannot pay the rent for their apartment. On very short notice, they were cut off from the money that they would have used to do so, and her mom does not get paid for at least a couple of weeks - they need the money by Friday.

She needs $300. I'll post her email at the bottom of this post, if you'd like to donate. Any amount will help - spread the word if you can, too. Again, they need it by Friday.

By the way, this is a mission. It's a member calling out for help for a friend. Normally, I'd be a little skeptical that it was a scam, but I know that neither Misu or Chii are like that. She really needs help, so I say we should help her.

Honestly, i trust BOTH of them, and you were not there to hear the story about what happened to get her in this situation, which is why i feel so strongly about this particular mission. Normally i do not go handing out money nor can i afford to, but I'm going to try my hardest to see what strings i can pull for this one.

I was just informed of this situation by Umbra not D minutes ago. Sadly, I'm just now starting my job so I have literally no cash to put forth. I am sorry for your position and I desperately wish I could help monetarily. I'll bring this mission to my other fellow dollars in my area.

Nobody ever actually doubted my word, just said it didn't appear to be an overarching Dollars mission. Which I refute, by saying it is for the legitimate benefit of one of our members.

Thankfully, people were really quick about this - goal was met earlier today :D

I would say to help her out anyway, because she is short on money in general and she does commissions, but this thread is basically done since the urgent part has been completed.
