Alrite, lets try something new. We have some outrageous borderline insane ideas thrown like junks on Random board's game threads (like that one on the thumbnail). Not that all of them were mad out-of-the-world ideas, there sure are some more normal-ish ideas of course... You get what I mean.
So why don't we just write snippets of stories from it? There were plenty of story concepts available, either from some few sentence or even just a single sentence probably spatted out without thinking to keep the game thread going.
So crank up your imagination for those absurd concept, make something readable out of them. Make sure to link the source material when you post, as well as the part you take as inspirations. Don't worry about reusing the same material, as long as yours had a different approach than the existing ones, you'll be fine.
This is a great idea, though I'd just like to point out that the above example is a reference to Douglas Adam's The Restaurant at the End of the Universe lol
