Arsene Lupin is a French gentleman thief created by Leblank. I saw him in various medias but never read the actual book. What I wanna ask is where do the stories take place in? France, England or elsewhere?

I'm probably wrong, but I believe Lupin was supposed to be kind of an international thief, someone who did his jobs in a bunch of different places, etc etc.
