You step in the cave, your footsteps echoing through the darkness. The cave is obviously pretty large due to the echo lasting a good few seconds. This is not a good idea. This is absolutely the sketchiest thing I've ever done. Your thoughts race, but you feel your legs move further into the strange hole you found in the side of the mountain near your home.

You lived on a farm in this area for several years, but you had never discovered this nor had anyone ever told you about it. But today, it seemed like your body just knew that it wanted to bring you here. You realized that it was getting darker and darker the further you went in, but, strangely, you could see perfectly fine. Finally, you reached a wooden door. Do not open the door. I repeat. Do not open the door. Such a bad idea- GOD DAMNIT!

You opened the door. This was so stupid. This was 100% a bad idea. But you felt calm about it, confident even. On the other side of the door was a huge chamber. You heard whispering in the shadows and immediately froze. You looked around and saw some men(obviously looters) sneaking somewhere. You followed their line of sight and gasped.

There were piles of gold and jewels. You became more aware of what surrounded you and it left you awe-struck. There were dozens of bookshelves filled with books and display cases full of jewelry and priceless-looking artifacts. You looked at the intruders again and felt a fire beginning in your stomach.

It's all starting to come back to you and the fog that weighed your mind for years seemed to be finally lifting. Not quite remembering how you made your friends, where you're from, or even how you got to live there suddenly made a little more sense. The local villagers told you it was a simple case of amnesia from an accident but gave no more information than that, no matter how much you pleaded. But now, you know why.

The memories rushed through your mind of who you were. What you were. You proudly walked to their men, grinning at their widening eyes and panicked yells about something being impossible. You let out a deafening roar and jumped at them to let them know how wrong they were. From outside the cave, their screams ringed through the air, and rightfully so. The villagers surely heard it, but they knew better than to interfere. After all....

Only a fool with a death wish would dare to steal from a dragon's treasure hoard.
