I remember when I first read Nietzche in high school. I thought he was a shock artist of some sort.
Past me was kinda dumb.

I read "When Nietzsche wept", it´s indeed amazing. I also read actual works of Nietzsche himself.
For me, who loves philosophy and literature, he´s an inspiring person, although he ended up in aberration. His works are highly recommendable.

I recommend starting with his first work "Beyond Good and Evil". The only good thing you get, when being a german native speaker is being able to read Friedrich Nietzsches works in the original language. ;) Just kidding ...
I started with "Human, All Too Human" his second work.
