Looking for a consultant reader (1)

I’m not really sure what you’d call it so just bear with me.
So I’m a writer, but the problem is that I tend to keep pretty much everything I write to myself, saying that once I complete my stories 100% to my satisfaction, then I will be able to release them to the world. The problem is that I’ve got too many paths to take, or major stories that I can focus on so it’s gotten me confused to a point where I don’t know which one to put all of my effort into first. So what I am after is someone who I can show my unfinished stories and ideas to and ask for opinions and thoughts, as well as which story I should write first. But who knows, if it goes really well I might even ask for you to help me write it (although just ignore that part for now). But just in general, someone to talk to about my stories about in more detail would probably help me a lot as a writer. And I think it will also be a good source of motivation to write more, assuming this all works out.

As for what it would require, the first thing is that you have to be able to “put up” with my stories. I’m not entirely sure of what it is about them, but I feel like they might be hard to read sometimes (you’ll have to see for yourself what I mean by this). And I guess my style and focuses in general might only be for some people. I don’t want someone who isn’t interested in my kind of stories to help me with this, it has to be someone who likes the kind of things that I write if that makes sense. I’m not looking to write something just so that it’s popular, I want to improve and continue writing things that are still very me. Now for this I guess the best way to get an idea of what I write is to look at my wattpad, which I have a few stories on as well as a few random thoughts or blogs or whatever they’re called.

However, my intention for this isn’t to promote my wattpad account, so you should probably only look at it if you have an interest in what I am talking about, or want to get a better idea of what I’m like.

Here’s a link to my wattpad: https://www.wattpad.com/user/toforeversigh
(I guess Umbrella would be the story you should read first)

Another really big thing that would be required is a lot of your time. Reading does take time, and if I end up emailing with someone, or chatting with them a lot, it will take a lot of your time. I wanted to point this out because a lot of you are probably really busy so if you don’t have the time for something like this then don’t worry about it, or even come back when you do have more time, even if it’s after a really long time.

This next one might sound a bit strange, but I would require you to talk to me as an equal. What I mean by this is not to come into this with the perspective of helping an inexperienced or bad writer get better, like you’re a teacher. And I also don’t want someone who thinks that they’re lesser than me for some reason, who’s not confident in their opinions or thoughts or would have much to say. I would prefer not to have biases like that involved. I guess it’s hard to explain what I meant by this but I hope you don’t get the wrong idea. And this isn’t anything professional but I guess not too laid back and casual either, nor does it have anything to do with making money. It’s about having a strong interest in creating stories, like a hobby you take more seriously than a job.

One last thing I want to say is that I would prefer people not to message me saying they’re interested, for around a week. The reason for this is because I don’t want this to just be something people decide to do on a whim, which is just forgotten the next day. I think that leaving it that long will be a better way to show if people actually have an interest in this. If you do message me before that I will still reply though, it’s more of a suggestion.

My email is toforeversigh@gmail.com but you can also post on this thread if you have any questions or anything. I’ll probably always be here, so even if it’s a while after this thread gets bumped off I will most likely still reply.

I feel kind of bad for only asking of people without really giving much in return. But this is a very experimental thing which we’ll work out as we go along, so I just hope people don’t get the wrong impression of this, or me. Who knows if anyone will actually email me or be interested but I figured I’d put this out there just in case.
