Where are the interesting writers and artists? (8)

I don't really know what to call this but but I have to say it though. Are there people out there who truly care about stories? Are there artists on here who truly care about creating something beautiful? The kind of people that I would like to see are the kind of people who truly care about art and stories. To create atmospheres, design characters, create interesting scenarios and interactions, tell stories and stir emotions. Where are the kind of people like that? Where are the people who have a passion for stories and want to create something big?
I like the idea of a group for people who are like this. I don't know what you'd call it though. A community, a club, or even just a group of friends. But does one even exist and where would it be? If you truly want to create something big and amazing then you will need help. Are there many people who think big enough for something like this? I don't know many writers or artists so I wonder if many people out there are even like this. But if there are then should we start a group like that?
I want to hear peoples thoughts on this though, people who take stories and art seriously and want more from it.

There are plenty of individuals, but I don't think they form groups that much since they tend to be solitary.
Also, since I preclude that most of these people don't write stories that would sell, I'm assuming they're hermits.

>>2 I guess that's the problem with this, how would I find people like that? I guess there's not really going to be an online community for that. And it's not about making money, it's about creating stories. It's not a just hobby, nor is it a job, but rather something that you really care about and means a lot to you.

I'm wondering why you'd want to find them though. Stories are internal realisations, so what one considers beautiful may be considered boring by others (the main reason they don't sell). Also, the stories themselves might be good but the authors can't adequately capture them with words (really common problem), which practically ruins the entire thing.

>>4 I guess you could say that I'm looking for someone compatible with me, when it comes to art and stories. I have a very big project I've been working on but it will be easier to work on it with someone else, like an artist especially. The way I tend to look at it is that I have a lot for my stories but there's another half of it with important factors mixed throughout it that this dream imaginary compatible person I'm would have for it. But I assume that there are other people out there who want someone else like them to work on their story/art with.
Now that I think about it, it's starting to sound kind of like a matchmaking kind of thing but instead pairing up artists and writers who's styles work well together and are "compatable".

I'm not very good at describing things like this though, sorry. It's hard for me to even say exactly what I'm looking for tbh.

If it helps, I love stories, they are my life. I'm being slightly plagued by exams now, but I have a million ideas for short stories and novels and essays and other projects that I have practically dreamed about for years, during which I perfected every tiny detail. Creating stories is a beautiful thing, and I don't know many people like me either, to look into the fabric of a story and both analyse it and celebrate it.
If I could help you, I would be happy:) but even if I couldn't, let's talk and discuss stuff, maybe?

>>6 You've definitely peaked my interest. Do you have an account on wattpad or something like that because that would be a good start I guess. And I would love to just chat and discuss things, it's very rare for me to chat with a fellow writer, especially about our ideas and stories. We'd need some kind of form of communication first though, like that or email or whatever you would prefer to use.

I can't say much for now though, so I can't really give you much of an impression of me yet but I guess we'll begin to understand each other more when we chat.

Also, you might want to be careful bumping older threads because the op won't be back most of the time. I come here a lot though (even though I rarely post) so you will probably usually be able to get a reply from me though.

I don't have a wattpad account, sorry:/ but yeah you're right, neither of us can really get to know each other unless we decide on a proper mode of communication... My dollars ID is mangaowl.dollars@gmail.com so maybe we'll start from that?
And yes okayyy I'll keep that in mind:)
