Are we still looking for another Earth?
Are we still looking for another planet to fit our needs?
One that we can move to
when the planet we are on can no longer be inhabited?
WHY?
What is wrong with this one?
The one we were all born on.
The one we have spent our whole lives on.
What is so wrong with it,
That we must find another?
The trees are dying,
The water is rising,
And more animals then ever are going extinct
And we will be next.
But, why?
Why do we need another planet
Like the one we are already on?
The reason...
IS US.
We are the ones cutting down the trees.
We are the ones causing global warming to rise,
Which then causes the ice to melt,
And the seas to rise.
We are the ones making there habitats,
Unable to be inhabited,
No place for them to live,
So they go extinct.
We are the ones.
We are the ones making this Earth a worse place to live.
We are the ones,
Who made it this way.
WHY?
Why did we do it?
And why are we still doing it?
We can make it better.
BUT WE DON'T!
We choose to ignore it.
Yo turn a blind eye.
We all see it happening.
SO WHY?
There is no good reason.
There is no excuse.
We shouldn't be looking for another planet.
We shouldn't be looking for another Earth.
Then what should we be looking for?
We should be looking for another way to live.
Another way to get what we need,
And not just what we want.
We should be looking for a way to make THIS Earth better.
But we're not.
We are still looking for another planet to call Earth.
We are still looking for a way to get of this one.
When we shouldn't be.
SO, WHY?
