Share some scenes or memories that always make you nostalgic. I'm asking because I myself always remember these images quite vividly, so I'm curious as to how you guys would describe them or incorporate them into a narrative. Feel free to be super specific or incredibly vague. Anything goes!

sample:
Sunlight catches on dust aimlessly floating in space. The scent of coffee lingers in the air while the rhythmic sound of typing makes me sleepy. The cafe plays "Let Her Go" softly in the background for what feels like the millionth time. My paper cup has long been empty, and I start to feel a tinge of coldness on my fingertips.

Light rained through the high wall window like a holy array.

All sight is impaired from the soft falls of white and blue; its carefree imitation of snowfall.

I am elated.

Our vision is blurred more and more by the flurry of packing peanut tossed in the air. The sound of the memory fades with each passing year. Only echoes of my brother and mother remains; their laughter enveloping the faint "crack" and "squish" of the foam we tore and threw at each other.

I danced around, throwing as much as my 5-year old hands could hold.

My mother pulls the box closer to my brother, so he can better access the foam from his wheelchair.

What a beautiful way to celebrate him surviving a car crash.
