The movie was amazing so I just had to read the book! I finished reading it about two days ago and boy was I depressed. Nick's narrative is filled with long words that I wouldnt use (lel), like, I have a lot of questions to ask Scott Fitzgerald!

I had to read that book for English class, I've never seen the movie buuuuuuut, I really hated the book. Nick was a lire, Daisy was a gold digger, Tom was raciest, Gatsby was a depressed, desperate, emo, and Jordan was just rude...
I liked the overall concept of the book, it has a good story, I just hate all the Characters

Well, all I can say that it was a very happy book. I read it a few years ago, and all I remember was NOTHING IMPORTANT HAPPENED. And the ending was WTF, some random guy just enters the scene and kills the rich guy. Also, the interesting guy that would stay in the library all day, you knew nothing about him in the end. They introduce a character in a scene, then he's gone the for the rest of the book. There were only 4 recurring characters.
