I read this series a while back, stopped around book 6 because there were no more and now I'm just too pressed for time to continue reading the rest of the series.

It was a great read though and everyone should read it. I've seen kids who go straight for this series in the bookstore and parents buying the entire series for their kids. I believe it's a book that anyone of any age can enjoy.
